 Fourth year

Students are required to carry out specific research in the basic theoretical disciplines (History of Art, Philosophy, Semiology, Languages, Aesthetics…) with the aim of enriching their works of art through projects in Research and Creation Workshops (ARC).

As part of this option, it is essential that the student produces a project to be submitted at the end of the course leading to the DNSEP diploma (Diplôme National Supérieur d’Expression Plastique).

The students also come to terms with the requirement for professional mobility through study trips, registration in a non-French partner art school, and training courses preparing them for future employment.

Project Phase

The Project Phase is based on the ARCS (Research and Creation Workshops), Modules and Workshops in which the School lays emphasis on the transversal links between the disciplines and mutualisation des enseignements.

It also mounts a large number of Workshops and conferences. The aim of this Phase is to render the student autonomous through courses based on the art project concept.
