DESIGN OF SPACE AND STAGE DESIGN

These courses are multidisciplinary, a point at which various disciplines intersect. Specialised teaching staff provide courses that are complementary to the options chosen.

These are an extension of the establishment’s development project and are closely coordinated with the installation of the Centre Pompidou-Metz and Paul Verlaine University’s MA in exhibition-work and stage design.

The VIE Laboratory also offers higher education courses in art exploring the whole range of contemporary creation, many forms of which are used in scenography / stage design. The courses effectively broaden the range of potential jobs open to students. The projects proposed by the teaching staff are aimed at developing a wide range of skills and were started several years ago as part of the School’s policy of teaching plastic arts by objectives.
