During the Third Year, in the middle of the Program Phase, students are required to choose between the Art and Communications options, each with its own specific lectures and workshops.

 

Students pursue the options they have chosen for the Project Phase until they have obtained their Art or Communications DNSEP.

Art

The Art option involves research and experimentation with the aim of training young creators in the various forms of contemporary art.

The teaching uses all the School’s educational resources and combines the various processes used in the creation of images and of installations, putting special emphasis on the concept of space in the plural and of time.

Courses, study trips, the mounting of exhibitions, and artists’ visits put students in close contact with their future professional environment.

 

Communication

As a continuation of the option approach the School has been applying for thirty years, students are involved in practical work in the plastic arts, learning their specific languages and the ways they have evolved in our contemporary world.

The results are based on the works the students create in the plastic arts given their predetermined individual trajectories and covering specific areas in particular in the fields of script writing and stage direction.

The various supports used in information processing are applied and highlighted in the work done. The specific and complementary forms of expression used include graphics, illustration, audiovisual and multimedia techniques...
